The start of something colourful!

Our founder Taylor absolutely loves bright, vibrant shorts. You know what he hates? Mesh lining! It is so uncomfortable, and causes endless amounts of chafing.

Taylor was tired of suffering from the dreaded chafing that comes with normal swimwear but still wanted to sport his very colourful shorts, the pain they caused and the embarrassment of walking around like he had sh*t himself was becoming too much!

He scoured the internet, looking for stylish anti-chafe swimwear, but just couldn't find any! All of the existing brands just provide plain colours and the odd pattern, that didn't sit right with him and that is where the idea of Lost Cove Swimwear was born.

Taylor Found His Mission

Let’s be real—Taylor wasn’t going to stop at just an idea. Nope, he was on a mission to shake things up in the swimwear world. After all, why should anyone have to choose between looking awesome and feeling comfortable?

Taylor was on a mission to make Lost Cove Swimwear the home of stylish swimwear for men.

So, he rolled up his sleeves and got to work, determined to create the perfect pair of shorts that would make chafing a thing of the past.

First came the research phase, which, to be honest, Taylor was a bit lost to start with! He had no idea what to look for and ended up spending hours in his garage, figuring out the best way to start building Lost Cove Swimwear. But hey, you’ve got to start somewhere, right?

After dozens of attempts (and more than a few fashion faux pas), Taylor finally cracked the code. He discovered the magic blend of materials that could stand up to the sand, saltwater, and sun, all while keeping things breezy where it counts. The best part? No more mesh lining! Just pure, unadulterated comfort wrapped in the most vibrant, head-turning designs you’ve ever seen.

Building a vision

But Taylor didn’t stop there. He wanted Lost Cove Swimwear to be more than just shorts—it had to be a lifestyle. Something that screamed, "I’m here to have a good time, and I’m not sacrificing style or comfort to do it!" So, he started dreaming up more designs, more colours, and more ways to make sure everyone could find their perfect fit.
